Anchor Managed  Solutions rented the Scotiabank Theatre in Saskatoon to host a local fundraiser  raising money and awareness for the Learning Disability Association of  Saskatchewan, and the Boys and Girls Club of North Battleford.

Anchor raised $700 by  raffling off prizes to any Anchor Client that donated money. Anchor not only matched  this donation, but it TRIPLE matched it and ended up donating $1,500 to each  group!

The event was kicked  off by the LDAS and Boys & Girls Clubs giving a short presentation, then  followed by a great presentation from Fortinet’s Herman Tsu who showed the current  IT Security Landscape and reminded us all how bad guys are attaching small  and medium businesses throughout the world. His presentation even included a  clip with R2D2 “hacking” into the Death Star as an example that hacking has  been around for a very long time.
